Since 4% of the general population is estimated to be a sociopath, unfortunately, most of us will encounter one of these "humans" at one point or another in our lifetime. They have no guilt and feel no shame. They live without a conscience and end up hurting anyone within their reach. I am not the first person to fall for the sociopath act, nor will I be the last.
This is my story. Jesus was my hope when the people I trusted most hurt and betrayed me. His truth kept me steady in the midst of confusion and heartbreak. Therefore, my top priority was to share what really happened. I have already experienced enough deception to last a lifetime. I initially wanted to be completely truthful, but since the names of specific people and places were changed in order to protect information told to me in private, it realistically contains about 99% of the truth.
