Bear is the best dog in the world. He has been with me throughout everything for almost eight years. I know he is just an animal but he is kind of my fur child.
Bear is part Labrador and part Poodle, but we think he is more Lab because his hair isn't curly and he sheds a little. He absolutely loves car rides and long walks. However, he is afraid of tall men, men with beards, men with hats, men carrying objects, people on bicycles, loud cars, trucks, and strange noises. Therefore, I can only take him outside when no one else is around. Also, he loves to smell everything and pulls on the leash if he doesn't go for a walk every day.
At home, he loves to play tug-of-war but isn't a fan of fetch. He knows his boundaries in the yard and doesn't need a leash if someone is outside with him. He listens to verbal commands and is very obedient.
Bear was trained not to lick anyone or jump on visitors. He doesn't eat people food when it falls on the floor or try to reach it on the counter. When no one is home, he won't get into food left on the table or the garbage. He loves chicken but only when it is added to his dog food in the bowl.
Bear is pretty much a perfect and precious soul.
